Sheckler is Kids' Choice
Skateboarder Ryan Sheckler has won Favorite Male Athlete at the 23rd Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
Sheckler held off the challenge of a number of world class athletes – including Shaun White – to collect the award, which was voted for by a record 115 million fans.

The 20-year-old was clearly delighted to collect his award. “I feel like being in the same category as Kobe [Bryant], LeBron [James] and Shaun [White] is crazy,” he said. “These are a group of guys that I look up to. I have to thank the fans for this.”
The two-time X Games gold medallist also got to rub shoulders with fellow award winners Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z and Misty May Treanor at the event.
